ABOUT
Brady Frome is an accomplished educator and passionate advocate for arts education, currently serving as the Performing Arts Department Chair at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, California. As a dedicated teacher of Drama, Musical Theatre, and Costume Design for grades 3-8, Brady also serves as an 8th grade Advisor, supporting students both in and out of the classroom.
In his administrative capacity as Department Chair, Brady oversees the vision, scope and execution of the schools K-12 program, supporting faculty and curriculum across the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. He manages department-wide planning, budgeting, faculty support, vendor coordination and strategic collaboration with school leadership. His role bridges the artistic and administrative, ensuring a cohesive and dynamic performing arts experience for students at every grade level.
A Los Angeles native, Brady’s love for musical theater began in grammar school and evolved into a successful performance career by his teens, including stage credits such as The Gathering opposite Theodore Bikel, and roles at the Odyssey, Secret Rose, and Pasadena Playhouse Balcony theaters. His work also spans film, television, commercials, and music videos, including the award-winning UNITED, which premiered at the United Nations.
Motivated by a deep commitment to education, Brady transitioned from stage to classroom, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Education from Emerson College and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University. He began his teaching career at Millikan Middle School, where, as Performing Arts Department Chair, he built a nationally recognized and award-winning program. There, he produced two musicals annually and pioneered a first-of-its-kind CTE Stage Technology course at the middle school level, earning his Career Technical Education (CTE) credential in Production and Managerial Arts.
Brady continues to inspire young artists through his teaching and leadership at Poly and through his youth theatre company, TippityTop Theatre Company. His work is grounded in the belief that arts education empowers students with confidence, creativity, and the ability to collaborate—skills that extend far beyond the stage.
